Technical service field assistance

ZF customer approach is organized through customer teams. This position sits within the team of the Technical Service ZF in the marine field with the objective to provide technical support with activity of commissioning, diagnosis, analysis of the failures, repair in light field and technical training to the customers (not only for service partners, but also for end users and/or in-house support) for marine field or remote applications.

Main accountabilities, responsibilities and deliverables

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and electronic components failures in ZF components after dedicated training

• Use the necessary diagnostic tools and devices to perform the requested operation

• Planning and monitoring the availability of materials and resources for external repair activities or rehabilitation campaigns

• Manage the process of offering and invoicing with the Customer (internal or external), mainly with the service partners

• Activity reporting and warranty request management through ZF or OE dedicated portal

• Customer service and hotline service

• Organize and perform specific technical training

• Prepare, if required, the list of service parts, maintenance instructions and technical documentation

Required skills and experience / main competencies

• Attitude to interpersonal intercourse and teamwork

• Good internal and external customer orientation

• Demonstration of excellent communication and listening skills

• Communicate with a large group of audiences - multicultural team abroad, maritime customers (internal and external), senior management

• Flexibility, high motivation and mobility

• Office Package

• Professional/technical English

• +5 years experience in the maintenance and repair of components for marine transmissions (Preferably ZF) and knowledge of hybrid system
