The Department of Neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center stands as a leader in patient care, research, and physician education. Comprising of 12 specialized sections, our department is nationally recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top 10 hospitals for neurology and neurosurgery. The Department of Neurology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an academic general neurologist. Applicants can expect an opportunity for a well-balanced career in General Neurology.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-volume inpatient and outpatient general neurology practice while contributing to resident and fellow education in one of the nation's top academic health systems.

Position Highlights:

• Provide outpatient general neurology care at Aston and Parkland General Neurology Clinics

• Provide inpatient general neurology care at Clements University Hospital and Parkland Hospital

• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in an academic setting

• Participate in the growth of the Peter O'Donnell Jr. Brain Institute, a rapidly expanding enterprise supporting cilnical, research, education, and community outreach efforts

Qualification

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution

• Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Adult Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology

• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Texas

• Strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration
