Who we’re looking for

Toyota Financial Services Sales Operations & Development Department is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Senior Consultant, National Accounts.

The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as the primary point of contact for some of the largest automotive dealer groups, including publicly traded and select privately held companies. Your mission will be to drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction across our Consumer Finance, Vehicle Protection Products (VPP), and Dealer Lending portfolios while balancing risk and compliance.

Success in this role means driving loan growth and product adoption while ensuring credit quality and compliance, all through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Build and nurture strong business partnerships with National Account Dealer Group Executives to support existing business and unlock incremental sales growth.

  • Lead face-to-face consultations at dealer group headquarters to review portfolio performance, identify opportunities, and secure commitments for additional sales.

  • Develop and negotiate commercial lending opportunities with dealers and major banks, ensuring terms meet profitability and risk expectations.

  • Support Dealer Lending and Legal teams throughout loan approval and documentation processes, maintaining ongoing portfolio performance oversight.

  • Drive VPP sales by consulting with dealer groups on portfolio performance, launching new products, and managing dealer training and implementation logistics.

  • Collaborate closely with field locations, regional teams, and HQ departments to address dealership performance issues and identify future business trends.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to HQ Product Development and Operations teams, balancing business growth with operational risk management.

  • Represent Toyota Financial Services at industry events such as NADA, leveraging networking opportunities to strengthen relationships and expand influence.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial lending, automotive finance, or related industries where you have successfully managed complex client relationships.

  • Experience selling Vehicle Protection Products (VPP) directly to dealers and supporting post-sale relationships.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present and engage executive-level stakeholders confidently.

  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple departments including Legal, Dealer Lending, Sales Operations, and Finance.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to meet clients and attend industry events.

Added bonus if you have

  • Advanced degree such as an MBA in finance, accounting, business strategy or related fields.

  • Proven expertise in commercial lending or banking, with a solid understanding of loan structuring, risk management, and profitability.

  • Specialized skills in contract negotiation, product launch management, or cross-functional project leadership.
