We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Immigration Specialist to join our in-house Immigration Team in Austin, TX. This is a hands-on processing role focusing on managing non-immigrant and immigrant petitions end to end, including strategizing, preparing, drafting, and filing.
The role requires solid expertise across employment-based immigration, including PERM labor certification, nonimmigrant petitions, and immigrant petitions. In-house, you will run the day-to-day work that keeps employees authorized and moving, jumping in to draft and own complex matters and responses without waiting to be assigned to them.

They are a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership over the whole program and can adapt quickly to changing priorities.

- Own case management from intake through approval: review and pull documents from all resources, coordinate with stakeholders, track timelines, prepare filings, and keep matters moving.
- Review cases for strategy, including risk assessments and issue-spotting; decide what you can close yourself and escalate to counsel when the risk or complexity warrants it
- Manage program and process work: templates, playbooks, intake standards, and workflows that let a lean team handle volume
- Oversee visa maintenance, including timely extensions, amendments, and change of status filings
- Optimize internal systems to automate immigration processes where feasible
- Advise internal stakeholders on visa eligibility, travel risks, and compliance with clear, practical communication
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on business immigration experience covering PERM labor certification and a wide range of NIV and green card processes (H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, I-140, AOS and/or consular)
- Thorough knowledge of the PERM process, prevailing wage determinations, and recruitment requirements, including job description/minimum-requirements analysis
- Ability to prepare, draft, review, and file case work — and to manage caseloads, timelines, and stakeholders
- Quick on your feet and a self-starter with a strong level of ownership; able to triage issues make a call, keep work moving, and comfortably carry a high-volume personal caseload in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing and project-management skills
- High attention to detail; will own work from intake through approval on a lean team
