
ServiceNow Integration Engineer, Assistant Vice President
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Service Now Integration Engineer to support and implement Service Now solutions as well as design, build, and customize platform applications. In this role, you will be a member of a geographically distributed team of Service Now developers and administrators. This position requires technical development expertise and strong knowledge of the baseline Service Now module capabilities to ensure the smooth operation and continual enhancement of the Service Now platform.
Key Responsibilities: Service Now Platform Development:
- Deliver business application needs while preserving baseline functionality with customization and extension of the platform modules.
- Designs and develops new Service Now applications and services.
- Refactor code for performance, manageability and efficiency.
- Drive the adoption and utilization of Service Now services across the organization, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency
Service Delivery and Issue Resolution:
- Assists Service Now System Administrators with incident resolution, as needed.
- Provides mentoring and guidance for Service Now System Administrators.
- Takes ownership of complex business requirements and works them to completion.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process optimization within Service Now workflows.
- Stay current on Service Now product developments, industry trends, and best practices to recommend improvements.
Qualifications: Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in professional software development.
- Experience in Service Now platform development.
Technical Skills:
- Deep knowledge of Service Now modules, including ITSM, ITAM, ITBM, and Service Catalog.
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Glide API) and building custom workflows and integrations.
- Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes within an ITIL framework.
- Strong requirements gathering and refining experience.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Service Now Implementation Specialist Certifications (e.g., ITSM, HAM, VR).
- ITIL v3 or ITIL v4 Foundation Certification.
Certifications (Required):
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Service Now CIS - Discovery
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, especially under pressure.
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner both written and orally.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Be a team player with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, initiative, and self-motivation.
- Ability to multi-task, meet aggressive timelines and have strong work ethics.
Note:
The role requires a minimum of three days per week working from the office
Minimum Salary:
zł182,004 Annual
The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
