Ready to take your radiography career to the next level?

At Siemens Healthineers, we support radiographers who want to grow beyond the clinical environment and develop into true modality experts. Our comprehensive Application Specialist training programme is designed to equip you with everything you need to succeed — from in depth system knowledge and advanced post processing skills to the confidence and soft skills required to deliver high impact clinical training.

We are expanding our diverse team of over 50 Application Specialists, who bring a wide range of clinical backgrounds and experiences across multiple modalities. If you are an experienced radiographer looking to broaden your expertise, influence clinical practice, and work with cutting edge imaging technology, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

Our Customer Services Clinical Applications team delivers high quality, best in class education and support to healthcare professionals. Siemens Healthineers is a leader in diagnostic imaging solutions for both the NHS and the private sector, and this role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, intellectually stimulating environment. You’ll collaborate with hospitals and universities across Great Britain and Ireland, helping clinicians get the very best from Siemens technology.

📍 Location:

This is a home based role (within mainland Great Britain), with regular travel to customer sites across GB & Ireland.

The role

As an Application Specialist, you will:

  • Provide expert clinical application support for Siemens MRI equipment across the UK and Ireland.

  • Deliver engaging, tailored training sessions and clinical demonstrations for healthcare professionals, both pre and post sales, on site and remotely.

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with customers, internal colleagues, and Siemens’ global application specialist community to ensure excellent customer experience and satisfaction.

  • Stay up to date with the latest equipment developments, clinical practices, and competitor solutions, enabling you to provide informed, forward thinking support.

  • Represent Siemens Healthineers at national and local exhibitions, conferences, and study days, delivering system demonstrations as required.

  • Manage and maintain demonstration systems, clinical images, and training materials to support effective customer engagement.

  • Successfully complete the Siemens Application Specialist Education programme, maintaining expert level knowledge and certification.

Your experience and background

We welcome applications from radiographers who bring:

  • HCPC registration as a Radiographer.

  • Typically, 5 years of clinical experience in a relevant imaging environment.

  • Current clinical experience in MRI.

  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across Great Britain and Ireland, including time away from home during the working week.

  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences.

  • Effective planning, organisational, and time management skills.

Desirable (but not essential)

You may be particularly well suited to this role if you also have:

  • Advanced knowledge of Siemens MRI equipment.

  • A willingness to undertake further training on Siemens MRI equipment.

  • Experience teaching, mentoring, or presenting in a clinical setting, with confidence speaking to groups of varying sizes.

If you don’t meet every requirement but feel excited about the role, we strongly encourage you to apply.

What we offer

In return, Siemens Healthineers provides a competitive and flexible benefits package, including:

  • 26 days’ annual leave, with the option to buy up to 10 additional days.
