KRJP People Team, HR Specialist (Recruitment, L&D, T&A)

At Shopee, people are at the heart of everything we do. As a Senior Associate in our People Team, you will play a key role in shaping the employee experience in Korea & Japan. This role combines Talent Acquisition, L&D and HR Business Partnering, where you’ll work hand-in-hand with leaders and teammates to bring in great talent, strengthen our culture, and help our people grow.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition (70%)

• Own end-to-end recruitment for assigned business units, partnering with Hiring Managers and HRBP on hiring strategy
• Lead full-cycle hiring including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers, while building strong talent pipelines
• Track recruitment metrics and report on pipeline health to stakeholders

L&D (20%)

• Design leadership and capability-building programs, and manage training vendors and budget
• Run onboarding and training programs across roles and levels
• Measure training effectiveness and improve programs based on data
• Design and run employee engagement surveys (EES, Pulse Check)

Attendance Management (10%)

• Manage and monitor employee attendance, leave, and time-off requests
• Ensure attendance policies and processes comply with labor law and internal policy
• Track attendance data, flag irregularities, and report to HRBP and management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience across recruitment, L&D, or other HRM functions
• Strong stakeholder management and ownership of assigned areas
• Data driven, organized, proactive, strong communicator
• Problem-solver with critical thinking and consulting experience on complex issues.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Good communicator in Korean and English (Japanese is a plus, but not required).
