UI/UX Designer - Product

Shopee is the leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. We provide easy, secure, and fast online shopping experiences to our buyers and sellers every day.

We’re looking for a mid-senior UI/UX designer to join us in enhancing our core e-commerce platforms.

You will help improve the sellers’ experience in listing products, managing inventory, monitoring shop performance and marketing initiatives, and engaging with buyers through social and engagement features. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of designers, writers, product managers, operations, and business analysts.

Responsibilities

• Shape and design core e-commerce platforms across mobile and web dashboard interfaces within the project scope.
• Develop high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes to effectively present product concepts to key stakeholders and leadership.
• Collaborate closely with product and business counterparts to evaluate project requirements and translate them into intuitive user interfaces.
• Drive user-centric solutions by advocating for user needs during team discussions and brainstorming sessions throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Hold a minimum Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Possess 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design or product design for mobile and web dashboard interfaces.
• Demonstrated portfolio showcasing end-to-end design thought processes, with experience in B2B user interfaces.
• Proficient in written and spoken English to facilitate cross-border collaboration, with proficiency in Chinese as an added advantage.
• High degree of ownership and agility to drive deliverables forward within dynamic project timelines.
• Confident and assertive in design decision-making while remaining receptive to constructive feedback.
