About the role
Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Configuration & Implementation Specialist! We're seeking an innovative professional to drive automation excellence and shape the future of our manufacturing processes. Automation System Design & Implementation Design and develop automation solutions using PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems Prepare control philosophies, functional design specifications (FDS), and detailed engineering documents Configure and program PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.) Develop HMI/SCADA screens for process visualization and control 2. Project Execution Execute automation projects from concept to commissioning Vendor coordination and review of engineering deliverables Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality, and safety standards 3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Provide support for existing automation systems Diagnose and resolve PLC/DCS/SCADA-related issues Perform periodic system health checks and preventive maintenance Implement system upgrades and modifications 4. Process Optimization Analyze process performance and implement automation improvements Reduce downtime and increase plant efficiency through control strategies Integrate advanced control techniques where applicable 5. Documentation & Compliance Maintain technical documentation (loop diagrams, P&IDs, IO lists) Ensure compliance with industrial standards and safety regulations Support audits and regulatory inspections 6. Safety & Cybersecurity Implement safety interlocks and fail-safe mechanisms Ensure secure industrial network architecture Follow cybersecurity best practices for OT systems Required Skills & Competencies Technical Skills Strong experience in PLC/DCS/SCADA systems Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC) Hands-on programming experience (Ladder Logic, Function Block, SFC) Understanding of instrumentation (flow, pressure, temperature, control valves) Basic knowledge of electrical systems and panel design Familiarity with MES/IIoT systems is an advantage Looking to make an IMPACT with your career?
