Job Description:

As Director, Transportation and Trade Management COE, you will lead global strategy, governance and project execution activities related to transportation and trade management operations. You will be a key partner in representing and collaborating across our Integrated Supply Chain organization, the broader enterprise, service providers, local distributors and end customers. You'll help optimize service and cost and simplify our customers' experience in working with us.

You will report to the Vice President of Global Logistics.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate and develop the management and supervisory teams.
  • Partner with regional leadership to monitor metrics, spend management and supplier relationships for all transportation and import/export activities and drive improvements for resolution.
  • Drive improved and reliable on-time delivery of finished goods and spare parts to manufacturing plants, distributors, and end-customers.
  • Enhance TCO model and drive discipline across ISC.
  • As a member of our global logistics leadership team, you will be an active participant in shaping and evolving our strategy and global network optimization efforts.
  • Support end-to-end visibility, network modeling and digital roadmap initiatives as transportation and trade management SME.
  • Complete and maintain risk management assessment of and compliance roadmap related to import and export activities and costs.
  • Evaluate technology requirements to support transportation and trade management requirements.
  • Identify, enable and support cost optimization efforts.
  • Develop and execute a multi-year strategic roadmap to support company forecast and priorities.
  • Gather and examine the right data and analytics to determine business effectiveness.
  • Standardizes SOPs and ensures strong training program is in place to meet operational objectives.

The Essentials

You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas for this job opening.

The Preferred

You Might Also Have:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business & Administration or Letters & Sciences
  • MBA is appreciated.
  • At least 10 years of experience in supply chain management and 12 years of leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of end-to-end integrated supply chain, with experience leading across two or more supply chain functional areas.
  • Strong ability to build a collaborative, diverse and inclusive culture resulting in improved employee engagement.
  • Successful in leading in a global, matrixed organization structure across cross-functional lines.
  • Demonstrated expertise leading within a complex global supply chain organization and ability to provide both technical and managerial leadership to the organization.
  • Proven experience driving strategic and operational business outcomes with an emphasis on progress over perfection.
  • Experience attracting, developing and retaining strong teams.
  • Articulate, persuasive, and persistent to drive change and overcome normal organizational resistance while providing hands-on leadership to the organization.
  • Networks across the organization and develops successful internal and external relationships.
  • Able to drive problems towards resolution while monitoring the progress of others and redirecting efforts as needed.
  • Experience presenting and communicating to all levels of an organization including executive leadership both internally and externally.
