This is a 2nd shift position with the following hours: Monday-Friday; 3:30pm- 12:00am (overtime may be required )What You Will Do:
-
Accurately pick material from storage location with specific SAP locations and batches.
-
Ability to key material requests into SAP.
-
Uses assorted measuring and weight recording devices to accurately pick the defined quantity.
-
Store/Retrieve articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves according to identifying information.
-
Responsible for filing of documentation.
-
Maintain organized inventory locations.
-
Keeps equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean.
-
Deliver material to the proper location across the manufacturing floor.
-
Conduct inventory audits as required.
-
Complete assigned tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual skills.

Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.
-
Comply with all rules and regulations of Collins Aerospace, including, but not limited to: Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, International Trade Compliance and Human Resources.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
Qualifications We Prefer:
-
Prior logistics experience and/or prior experience with SAP or similar ERP system.
-
Proper label application, paperwork preparation, and shipment packing.
-
Current training in appropriate shipping regulations, hazardous/dangerous goods packaging and shipping, government, international, ocean air, parcel and LTL truck shipments. Maintain as required.

The ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office, shipping carrier manifest software, and labeling.
-
Intermediate computer skills in terms of typing, navigating screens and learning new software programs.
