Job Description:

Job Description Summary:

Join our IFS Cloud team as a IFS Cloud Developer, where you will play a critical role in the design, development, and strategic evolution of our IFS Cloud ERP ecosystem.

You'll report to the ERP Manager and work in a hybrid capacity from our Pune/Bangalore/Noida/Chennai, India office. you will be work closely with the IFS Product Owner, Project Implementation Team, and key business stakeholders. This role requires strong expertise in IFS Cloud architecture, integrations, customizations, and extensions, with a focus on delivering efficient and maintainable solutions using best practices.

Key ResponsibilitiesIFS Cloud Development & Customization

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom solutions within IFS Cloud ERP using supported development frameworks and tools (e.g., Aurena, IFS extensions, REST APIs).

  • Configure and customise IFS business processes to meet business requirements while following IFS best practices.

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and enhancements to improve system usability and performance.

IFS Cloud AI & Intelligent Automation Responsibilities

  • Design and extend solutions using IFS Cloud embedded intelligence

  • Collaborate with functional teams to configure and optimize AI‑driven insights for production planning, inventory management, and asset performance.

  • Support adoption of IFS.ai and predictive features, including forecasts, recommendations, and anomaly detection where applicable.

  • Develop extensions and integrations that help data-driven decision support using IFS Cloud APIs and event frameworks.

  • Ensure AI-enabled features follow security, governance, and explainability best practices within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Integration & Technical Design

  • Build and support integrations between IFS Cloud ERP and external systems using REST APIs, middleware, and event-based architectures.

  • Design technical solutions that comply with cloud standards, security principles, and scalability requirements.

  • Perform impact analysis for system changes and upgrades.

Support & Maintenance

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development, test, and production environments.

  • Provide ongoing application support, enhancements, and performance tuning.

  • Support IFS Cloud upgrades and patch releases, ensuring customizations remain upgrade-safe.

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Collaborate with functional analysts, business stakeholders, and infrastructure teams to translate business needs into technical designs.

  • Prepare technical documentation, development standards, and deployment guides.

  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

The Essentials

You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • Hands-on experience with IFS Cloud ERP development and configuration.

  • Proficiency in PL/SQL and Oracle-based development, REST APIs and web services, IFS Aurena and IFS Extension Framework

  • Experience with ERP modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Asset Management, or Service Management.

  • Understanding of cloud-based architectures and SaaS ERP concepts.

The Preferred

You Might Also Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in ERP development, with at least 1–2 years working on IFS Cloud.

  • Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, and production environments.

  • Experience with IFS Cloud integrations using middleware platforms (Mule Soft preferred).

  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices in cloud environments.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models.

IFS certifications (IFS Cloud Technical or Functional certifications).
