About The Role

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer (Jenkins) to join our CI/CD infrastructure team supporting large‑scale machine learning verification.

This role focuses on the operation and administration of Jenkins infrastructure that underpins software validation across our group. You will work as part of a growing team responsible for running Jenkins as a production service - ensuring reliability, scalability, and consistent CI signal for engineering teams.

You will contribute to the ongoing operation and continuous improvement of CI systems that support high‑volume automated workloads and distributed test environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support the operation of Jenkins as a production CI service, ensuring availability, stability, and responsiveness.

  • Contribute to Jenkins administration, including job and pipeline configuration, plugin management, and system updates.

  • Oversee continuous integration systems and address infrastructure concerns by systematically triaging failures and determining root causes in coordination with the team.

  • Assist with scaling and capacity management, including Jenkins agents, node lifecycle, and resource utilization.

  • Maintain and improve system reliability and CI signal quality, including identifying and addressing infrastructure-related issues.

  • Contribute to automation and tooling to reduce operational overhead and improve repeatability.

  • Work cross-functionally with engineering teams to support CI/CD workflows and improve pipeline stability.

What are we looking for? (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or software engineering environments.

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and workflows, including build, test, and pipeline execution.

  • Experience with Jenkins administration, including pipelines, job configuration, or plugin management.

  • Experience working in Linux environments, with the ability to troubleshoot system-level issues.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications / Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting or operating CI/CD systems at scale.

  • Familiarity with Git-based development workflows.

  • Knowledge of scripting (e.g. Python or shell) to support automation.

  • Solid understanding of infrastructure concepts such as compute, storage, and networking.

  • Awareness of reliability, monitoring, and operational best practices in CI environments.
