Lead Mondelez Commercial Key Events Agenda, delivering against the aligned vision of Snacking Made Right. This leader will ultimately be responsible to drive flawless execution of defined strategic events across the Mondelēz Commercial Organization.
You will lead the planning, execution, and strategy of high-impact events to support business goals, such as marketing, branding, or revenue growth. They oversee end-to-end logistics, manage budgets and vendor relationships, lead event teams, and analyze ROI to optimize future events. This role requires senior leadership collaboration and a focus on attendee experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
Develops comprehensive, company-wide event strategies aligned with corporate goals, branding, and long-term objectives.
- Leadership & Management:
Leads and mentors event planning teams, managing staffing needs and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Budgeting & ROI:
Owns annual budgeting, ensures fiscal responsibility, negotiates contracts, and maximizes ROI through detailed financial reporting and analysis.
- Event Execution & Logistics:
Oversees complex, high-profile events from conception to on-site production, including venue selection, vendor management, and logistics.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
Works with senior leadership, marketing, and sales teams to align event goals with business revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Performance Metrics:
Evaluates post-event data to assess success and improve future performance.

More about this role Education / Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
Job specific requirements:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience within Brand, Sales, Industry or Shopper Marketing with prior trade show management experience
- 3+ years in a people leadership role
- Leading CPG company experience, ideally in food industry
- Agency interface experience preferred
- Experience interfacing with Commercial functions, Industry and Customers
Travel requirements:
Up to 50% travel required (trade shows, NSM, HQ offices, industry events, etc.)
Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $142,700 to $235,455; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results and eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
