职位介绍

Meta is seeking an experienced Site Logistics Operations Specialist to independently own and drive Data Centre Field and Warehouse operations strategy and execution. This role operates with high autonomy, partnering with Site Logistics Operational Leads to define, standardise, and scale logistics processes across the broader EMEA data centre portfolio. This role requires navigating ambiguity, influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority, and delivering org-wide impact through operational excellence, systems thinking, and continuous improvement.
IC5 at Meta means you are a recognised subject matter expert who independently drives outcomes at org-level scope. You set standards that others follow, mentor peers, and influence strategy — not just execute it.

Site Logistics Operations Specialist Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end logistics operations at the assigned Data Centre, ensuring all activities meet IBOS 4S standards (Safety, Security, SOX Compliance, Stakeholders) — proactively identifying systemic risks before they surface
Develop and drive the operational strategy for site logistics — moving beyond task execution to define the "what" and "why," not just the "how."
Lead without direct authority: plan, coordinate, and hold third-party logistics provider leads accountable for performance across inventory accuracy, inventory movement and distribution, server rack movements, shipping/receiving, and emerging requirements
Author and champion org-wide process standards — develop, refine, and maintain documentation that captures effective and scalable logistics processes and policies; drive adoption across multiple sites, not just your own
Identify systemic gaps and design scalable solutions that standardise operations across Meta's global data centre portfolio — framing problems at the programme level rather than individual site incidents
Build and sustain cross-functional partnerships with internal stakeholders (DC Ops, Capacity Planning, Finance, Procurement, Trade compliance) — influencing roadmaps and securing alignment on logistics priorities
Own the audit and compliance rhythm: lead monthly audits of inventory controls, drive root-cause analysis on discrepancies, and ensure Sarbanes-Oxley requirements are met with minimal escalation
Support month/quarter/year-end financial reporting requirements — anticipating issues and resolving them proactively rather than reactively
Serve as a trusted advisor to IBOS leadership — translate business requirements into actionable process improvements; influence strategic decisions with data-backed recommendations
Drive inventory reconciliation strategy to identify risk, manage obsolescence, and correct errors — establishing repeatable frameworks that reduce recurrence
Escalate with clarity and conviction: raise systemic field issues that require better controls to central logistics, accompanied by proposed solutions and impact analysis — not just problem statements
Partner with field leads, vendors, and contract labour to develop and execute action plans for new process implementation — coaching others through change management
Mentor and knowledge-share with peer Site Logistics Operations Specialists — elevate the capability of the broader team through best-practice exchange and informal leadership
Define and manage KPIs that measure process compliance and logistics performance — connecting operational metrics to business outcomes and presenting insights to leadership
Lead shared-solution development when inconsistencies are identified across sites — driving consensus across multiple stakeholders and ensuring sustainable adoption
~10% travel is required

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Management, or related field — or equivalent work experience
7+ years of progressive logistics/operations experience, with demonstrated ownership of site-level or multi-site operations and third-party provider management
Track record of independently driving process improvements at scale — not just executing existing processes
Proficiency with ERP, TMS, content management systems, WMS systems (Oracle or equivalent), Excel, and analytics tools
Executive communication skills — experience translating operational detail into strategic narratives for leadership audiences — ability to translate operational detail into strategic narratives for leadership audiences
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority across cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance in a logistics/inventory context
Experience in a data centre or hyperscale infrastructure environment
Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
Ability to mentor and develop others — formal or informal leadership experience
Background in business analysis, programme management, or operational excellence (Lean/Six Sigma)
Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
Knowledge of end-to-end Supply Chain processes (Procure-to-Pay, inventory lifecycle)
Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments with competing priorities and limited precedent
Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
Experience leading change management initiatives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
