Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate a modern cloud-native platform that supports mission-critical applications and data services. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes-based infrastructure, Git Ops practices, CI/CD automation, database administration, observability, and platform security.

You will play a key role in driving platform reliability, scalability, and developer productivity while mentoring junior engineers and adopting open-source technologies to enhance our engineering ecosystem.

Monitoring & Observability: Grafana, Prometheus, Loki

Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Neo4j, Redis, Click House, Qdrant

Streaming & Messaging: Apache Kafka (Strimzi)

Data Platform: Apache Airflow, Trino, Hive Metastore, Open Metadata, MinIO (S3)

Security: Hashi Corp Vault, Open Bao

Configuration Management: Ansible

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage advanced CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD Git Ops).

• Deploy and operate highly available PostgreSQL & MySQL clusters.

• Manage Kong API Gateway and optimize Kubernetes infrastructure.

• Operate and enhance monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki) and ensure security compliance.

• Manage Kafka clusters, perform capacity planning, and participate in incident response.

• Mentor junior engineers and deploy new open-source platforms end-to-end.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.

• Expert-level Kubernetes (deployments, Stateful Sets, RBAC, CRDs) and Docker.

• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL (HA, replication) and Helm chart development.

• Proficiency with ArgoCD, Prometheus + Grafana (PromQL), and Apache Kafka.

• Strong Linux administration, scripting (Bash, Python, Go), and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).

• Experience with Hashi Corp Vault and Traefik ingress controller.
