All About You
-
You’ve made your career in designing and building high performance, high transaction volume, and globally scalable platforms.
-
As an individual contributor you made your name by solving the hard problems that no one else could and as your career grew so did the complexity. You still love getting your hands dirty, but now look forward to working with your friends to solve the big stuff that no one person can solve on their own.
-
Designing and crafting the best software this world has ever seen might be your favorite thing, but you know that’s not the alpha and omega of your problem set. You relish your time with the SRE, Performance Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to ensure the architectures are correct and tuned and that your teams’ code is optimized for each system.

You know you are responsible for software that is critical financial infrastructure for multiple nation states, but you also know that you can’t be everyone all the time, so you’ve extended your ownership to ensure the SDLC and governance processes are both efficient and responsible.
-
You are intelligent and industrious, but people don’t know that because you tell them. Its because they see it in the way you lead. From ideation where you make everyone’s ideas feel heard and respected all the way through to production crisis where you stick with the engineers to overcome oversights not found until the last minute. Your personal culture sets the team culture.
