The DISA CESO ITSS team provides network operations and cyber defense support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), enabling secure and reliable communications for the Department of Defense (DoD) and Combatant Commands (COCOMs).

Configure, administer, and sustain an enterprise Citrix environment supporting geographically distributed users. This role is responsible for day-to-day health, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance, and security integration for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) and Citrix ADC (Net Scaler).

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain CVAD and Citrix ADC (Net Scaler), including associated access components (e.g., Store Front, Citrix Gateway) as required.

• Troubleshoot and resolve user connectivity, latency, and performance issues across geographic locations.

• Perform routine patching, system health checks, upgrades, and firmware updates for Citrix infrastructure, hypervisors, and supporting platforms.

• Manage security and access, including Active Directory integration, user/group access controls, and compliance requirements.

• Automate provisioning and administrative tasks using PowerShell (or similar scripting).

• Document configurations and operational procedures; support incident/change workflows.

Required qualifications

• BA degree and 4+ years experience with enterprise virtualization architectures and Citrix technologies (e.g., Xen App, Xen Desktop, Store Front, Citrix Gateway/CVAD). Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

• Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Citrix ADC (Net Scaler).

• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, SSL/TLS certificates.

• Candidate must possess an active DOD Top Secret level security clearance, and be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI

• Candidate must be willing to take and maintain a CI/Poly

• 8570 IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g. CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE)

Preferred qualifications

• Citrix certifications such as Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization (CCA-V) or Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization (CCP-V).

Pay Range:

Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
