CISNGE - ITOM Event Management Engineer

Design, implement, and support Service Now ITOM Event Management solutions.
Configure Event Management, Alert Correlation, Alert Aggregation, and Event Rules to reduce noise and improve operational visibility.
Integrate monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, App Dynamics, Solar Winds, SCOM, and Nagios with Service Now Event Management.
Configure and maintain MID Servers, Discovery schedules, and Service Mapping solutions.
Ensure accurate population and maintenance of CMDB data through Discovery and integration processes.
Develop custom event processing rules, transform maps, scripts, and automation workflows.
Implement automated incident creation, alert enrichment, and remediation workflows using Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
Troubleshoot event ingestion, alert correlation, CMDB, and integration-related issues.
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, cloud, and operations teams to improve monitoring and service visibility.
Perform root cause analysis of recurring incidents and recommend proactive monitoring solutions.
Support platform upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations within the ITOM suite.
Create dashboards, reports, and operational metrics to track event management effectiveness.
Develop technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
Follow ITIL best practices for Event, Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
