Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-scale data platforms and pipelines. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud-based data engineering, big data technologies, data architecture, and team mentoring. This role requires strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive strategic data initiatives across the organization.

Technical Leadership
Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms and architectures.
Lead the development of batch and real-time data processing solutions using modern cloud and big data technologies.
Define data engineering standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
Drive architectural decisions for data lakes, lakehouses, data warehouses, and streaming platforms.
Review and optimize complex data pipelines for scalability, reliability, and performance.
Lead platform modernization and cloud migration initiatives.

Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT frameworks for processing large-scale datasets.
Develop data integration solutions across multiple internal and external systems.
Ensure data quality, lineage, observability, security, and compliance requirements are met.
Implement data modeling strategies for analytical and operational use cases.
Drive automation and operational excellence through CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.

Partner with business leaders, architects, product teams, data scientists, and analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Provide technical consultation and recommend data strategies aligned with business objectives.
Present architecture solutions, roadmaps, and technical recommendations to senior leadership.
