Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary

The role is responsible for supporting Risk & Compliance platforms impacted by the Trade Transformation program. The position works closely with the Data Engineering team under the guidance of the Data Lead to assess impacts, deliver required developments, and drive efficient outcomes through modern technologies. Work collaboratively with the Data Engineering team, under the supervision of the Data Lead, to assess and analyze impacts on Risk & Compliance platforms arising from the Trade Transformation initiative. Translate impact assessments into required data and platform development activities. Design, develop, and implement solutions in line with organizational architecture and development standards. Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assigned development tasks, meeting agreed milestones and SLAs. Actively adopt and leverage modern technologies and tools (e.g., AI-assisted tools such as Claude) in day-to-day work to improve efficiency, productivity, and delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.

2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.

3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).

4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
