Design Lead

Job Summary

• New product development for an electromechanical medical surgical device

• Electronic design for system control, sensing solutions, motor control, firmware, Wireless communication protocols, etc.

• Sensor selection, sensor analysis, electromechanical sensor integration

• Create and review electrical architecture, design, schematics and guide PCB Layout designs

• Prototype design evaluation and characterization

• Compliance to medical standards like the IEC60601 suite.

• Design analysis, tolerance analysis, and design review

• Technically review and advise on design input and design output

• Cross functional team collaboration

• Engineering in a R&D Department for New product development

• Working with component Suppliers required

• Collaborative team player and commitment to internal and external team partnership

• Demonstration of credo-based leadership, big-picture thinking, customer focus, attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy and sound judgment in delivering project outcome required

• Excellent verbal/written communication and collaboration skills
