Sr Subject Matter Expert (Support&Ops)

Job Summary

• Perform internal threat hunting using open-source tools to proactively identify hidden threats and anomalies.

• Analyze security telemetry and logs to detect advanced threats using MITRE ATT&CK; framework techniques.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage remediation using tools such as Qualys and Tenable.

• Execute moderate-level penetration testing to validate vulnerabilities and security gaps.

• Correlate threat intelligence with internal findings to improve detection and response capabilities.

• Develop and refine threat hunting hypotheses based on emerging attacker tactics and behaviors.

• Collaborate with SOC, IR, and IT teams to investigate and resolve identified security issues.

• Maintain and enhance detection rules, signatures, and use cases for continuous monitoring.

• Document findings, risk ratings, and remediation actions in alignment with security policies.

• Ensure compliance with internal security standards and vulnerability management processes.

• Track and report vulnerability metrics, trends, and risk posture to stakeholders.
