Senior Sales Finance Manager

POSITION SUMMARY The incumbent is responsible for strategic leadership role in General Mills Korea that provides financial advice and support to internal & external stakeholders to enable sound business decisions. He/she will be the strong right hand of Korea Commercial Director in both short and long term business decisions.   MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Planning & Analysis Lead Korea’s business planning and forecasting processes with the goal of objective forecasting and improving business performance to meet and exceed business targets: budget, latest estimates, annual spring plan Provide strong business partnership and influence with Korea’s Leadership Team via strong business and financial insights. Work with the Leadership Team to ensure we optimize the whole value chain from General Mills to our customers and to our consumers. This will include: involvement with product launch plans to ensure they are financially sound, ensuring maximizing effectiveness of marketing and trade spend, and pricing decisions Ensure good cost control processes are in place to ensure profit objectives are met Provide objective assessment and early warning to Commercial Director and AMEA Finance Director on expected deviations from forecasts and effectively lead action planning to address these risks Advise on business improvement measures including operational efficiencies and operational processes Monitor headcount and SG&A expenditure, and ensure spending within budget Take responsibility for capital appropriation request process Compliance of business processes that are in line with internal control requirements Comply with all legal, regulatory, and ethical business requirements in executing the assigned roles and responsibilities as defined in the local regulation and the Corporate procedure. Manage Finance Team Lead in ensuring that we have best-in-class Finance organization in Korea who enable the business in meeting or exceeding its targets Be part of AMEA’s Finance Leadership Team in creating strong Finance culture and organization across the region including career & talent planning, rewards & recognition, etc. Internally develop and recruit finance talent Lead and motivate a strong finance team aligned with business objectives Conduct performance appraisal and individual development plan to ensure functional strength and career progression Handling matters of JV Partner Make window role for JV Partner providing business status regularly Arrange & coordinate BOD meeting MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Finance Careers must be over 80% in total careers. At least 10 years of related work experience in which at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory capacity is required. Candidates must have experience in an MNC environment. Preference to have background from top Consumer MNCs (P&G, Unilever, Mondelez, Nestle, J&J, etc) Excellent Team-work/ Leadership / Communication behavior English speaking (Spoken & written) skills is a must. Experience of handing JV Partner is preferred.
