Job Overview: Reports directly to a Regional Payroll Lead Responsible for administering assigned components of payroll Inputs processing to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of Payroll data submissions. Play a critical role of acting as a “Liaison” between US Team Lead, Plant HR, Technology team, HRIS team, etc. Leads Process Improvement, Standardization and Automation opportunities Responsible for delivering service excellence to employees, managers and HR professionals. Responsible to actively partner in Service Excellence Framework execution Overall Accountability of Plant Payroll Input processing Responsible for KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), metrics/measures) Lead the Payroll (US Plants) team Be responsible for first level of escalation and conflict resolution Lead Team Engagement w.r.t. Team meetings, update, etc. Ensure the automation initiatives are followed by the Team Drive changes within region for enhanced payroll input scope, new capabilities etc. Works in close collaboration with the US Payroll Team Lead, US Plant HR. Technology team, HRIS team, etc Responsibilities: 30% of Time Led and Monitor the Process of production Time and Labor processing
  • Weekly Reporting
  • Performs the day to day/weekly payroll processing activities Time & Attendance - ensuring that payroll inputs are accurate
  • Analyze and prioritizes incoming work to ensure data is processed by the cut-off date
  • Accountable for the transactional process work and data entry, ongoing HR process harmonization/improvement, and processing within the region/market
  • Review outputs, audit preliminary results and make corrections by the sign-off date
  • Validation of input data , provide commitment to Stakeholders by the final processing date and approval of final payroll results
  • Work in close collaboration with the Supply Chain TL for timely and accurate data collation
  • Partnering with HR Tech and Solutions in resolving issues, testing etc
  • Strictly Document and follow Plant Payroll policies and process
  • Capture KPIs in Payroll Tool
  • Closure of current pay cycle and processing of Time & Attendance inputs/outputs 30% of Time Lead and Monitor the process of
  • Facilitate and Manage Incentive Payouts
  • Responsible for all reporting and reconciliations – input and output
  • Manage the following processes and identify opportunities of Improvement and Standardisation

  • Testing – provide support for Testing (initial and any ongoing) 20% of Time Lead Process Improvements
  • Identify opportunities to improve and enhance the Process

  • Drive the culture of Continuous Improvement within the team
  • Focus on HMM 10% of Time Stakeholder Management
  • Set periodic reviews with Stakeholder to report the Performance
  • Obtain Customer feedback
  • Seek for suggestions, improvements, etc. 10% of Time Team Engagement & Development
  • Act as a liaison between Stakeholders and the Team

  • Focus on team development – Trainings, exposure, etc. Education Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors Preferred Degree Requirements: Bachelors Preferred Major Area of Study: Any Experience Minimum years of related experience required: 5-8 years of handling US Payroll processes Hands-on experience on Payroll systems – Workday, Infor, Krunos, etc. Preferred years of related experience: Same as above Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed Experience working with global teams Experience of working in Night Shifts Hands on experience of People Management Excellent communication skills, verbal and written English, are required. Attentive listening skills and attention to detail are necessary to be effective in this role.
