Trusted, connected and accessible data is critical for the Supply Chain as General Mills works to becomes the CPG leader in Data and Analytics. Data and our Core Systems are also the foundation for efficient operations, enabling key capabilities like Business Performance Management, Integrated Business Planning and our broader Transformation initiatives. The Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Data & Systems Strategy is responsible for developing and implementing our Supply Chain Data Strategy and improving the efficiency of our Core Systems. This role will partner closely with the Data & Technology team to accelerate the move of Supply Chain data to the Cloud and ensure that it is governed and architected to enable a future Digital Supply Chain. The role will also work to assess our current technology platforms and develop plans to simplify and ensure a connected E2E design (ecosystem). This position reports to the Sr. Director, Systems, Data & Technology and supports the Pillar, Segment and Operating Unit teams. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Prioritization and efficient execution of the Cloud Acceleration and Data Governance programs in partnership with the Data & Technology organization. Focus will be on supporting needs of the Pillar, Segment and OU teams. Standardization of reporting across all Data Foundations initiatives ensuring program scorecards and ongoing metrics are visible to Supply Chain leaders Development of data quality targets that support the needs of our Supply Chain and Business teams. Implementation of a Business Performance Management model for Data focused on quality improvements. Quarterly updates to our Data Domain executive sponsor and SC Leadership Team. Lead a global community of practice across our pillar teams (and broader enterprise) that will set standards for data quality reporting and governance. Product Ownership for the Agile product teams supporting Data Foundations. Leveraging metrics and maturity assessments to improve team effectiveness and process maturity. Direct support for the Plan Pillar and Integrated Planning Transformation program data efforts including data governance and cloud data strategy. Partnership with our Supply Chain Analytics and other teams in development of new capabilities that leverage the Cloud. Examples include Digital Twin, Control Tower, Predictive Capabilities, Real-time alerting. External benchmarking and support for development of Learning & Development programs to increase the digital acumen of our Supply Chain teams. Partnership with Data & Technology to develope a current state Technology and Systems inventory. Identification of gaps and opportunities to connect, consolidate and simplify our ecosystem and a roadmap to implement changes. REQUIRED SKILLS: 5+ years of Supply Chain or Information Technology experience Bachelor's degree Fluency in English with the ability to work in a multi-lingual environment Project management experience Ability to set direction and effectively influence others to drive results without direct reporting relationships Thrives in ambiguity and times of significant change Proven track record of strong collaboration skills across distance and difference Strong skills in analysis and creative problem solving. PREFERRED SKILLS: 7 years of Supply Chain or Information Technology experience Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems or Business (any concentrations e.g. Finance, Marketing, etc.) Lead the Team: Experience driving results through others within a dynamic, global organization Engage with Purpose: Experience working globally with variety of stakeholders with differing needs and agendas Previous experience within this category Risk Management experience Fluency in additional languages beyond English Leverage Expertise Demonstrated strong expertise in core functional capabilities within Sourcing Engage with Purpose Strong active listening skills and ability to build trust quickly in a global, virtual environment Demonstrated ability to build relationships within Sourcing, across functions, and externally to influence and enable collaborative decision-making and business results Demonstrate Agility Demonstrated ability to quickly and effectively respond to critical market dynamics Demonstrated high learning agility and cultural agility in a fast-paced environment Drive Repeatable Success Experience coaching others to leverage and adhere to standards in order to produce consistent, repeatable results Ability to align processes across organizational boundaries and the total value stream Experience identifying and removing barriers that prevent teams from achieving zero loss.
