The Field Supervision Department supports the Compliance Division by promoting client interests and strengthening a culture of compliance.
The Advanced Branch Field Supervision (ABFS) group supervises the firm’s highest‑producing 2% of branch teams.
An ABFS Field Supervision Director (FSD):
- Serves as branch manager for 50 - 65 branch teams generating more than $2.25M annual revenue each.
- Performs supervisory functions across primary, advisory, and rollover groups.
- Partners with specialized teams including annuity supervision, insurance supervision, and compliance service.
What You’ll Do:
- Build long‑standing relationships with top branch teams.
- Guide teams in building compliant broker‑dealer, fee-based, and rollover business.
- Make regulatory‑scrutinized supervisory decisions.
- Partner with other FSDs.
- Advance expertise in regulations and firm policies.
- Act as consultant on products, asset allocation, and investment solutions.
- Lead discussions on compliance topics.
- Engage with clients to confirm understanding of risks and benefits.

However future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work and some roles may carry a preference for campus-based presence.What Experience You'll Need:**
- FINRA Series 7
- FINRA Series 66 or equivalent
- FINRA Series 24
- FINRA Series 9 & 10 (or equivalent)
- Life and Health Insurance License
- Leadership, analytical, investigative, and decision‑making skills
What Could Set You Apart:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 6 years industry experience OR
- 4 years supervisory/compliance/risk experience
- Successful FSD or Senior FSD experience
Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.\
