The Capital Joint Venture (CJV) & Advisor Marketplace team is focused on shaping and scaling innovative growth opportunities for financial advisors. As stewards of the firm's newest advisor affiliation model, the team is responsible for activating, refining, and expanding the Capital Joint Venture offering to support advisor success and long-term firm growth.

In addition, the team leads the design, development, and delivery of the Advisor Marketplace, a strategic platform that will enable advisors to efficiently buy, sell, and transition practices. Working across business, technology, and field leadership teams, the department helps create new pathways for practice growth, continuity, and succession while enhancing the advisor and client experience.

This is a highly entrepreneurial team that blends strategy, innovation, and execution to build solutions that will shape the future of advisor affiliation and practice transitions.

The Senior Lead, Practice Strategy and Development will lead the strategic execution, design, build, launch, and scaling of the Capital Joint Venture affiliation model and the advisor Marketplace. Translates enterprise strategy into an integrated roadmap, operating model, governance structure, and measurable business outcomes across Finance, Practice Management, Market Management, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Digital, and Market and Practice Solutions.

Leads a matrixed, cross-functional team and serves as a trusted advisor to financial advisors, field leaders, senior leaders, and external partners. Ensures the affiliation model and Marketplace deliver a strong advisor, client, and firm experience while managing financial, operational, legal, regulatory, technology, and cultural risks.

What You Will do:

• Lead CJV and Marketplace strategic execution program, converting the loosely defined strategy into sequenced roadmaps, milestones, investment priorities, decision points, and accountable outcome
• Lead workstreams supporting the cross-functional design and build of the CJV affiliation model and Marketplace operating model, including governance, decision rights, processes, advisor experiences, enabling tools, and handoffs across functions.
• Direct a subset of matrixed teams across Finance, Practice Management, Market Management, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Digital, Client and Practice Transitions, and other partners. Clarify ownership, resolve dependencies, and maintain delivery momentum.
• Apply independent judgment and discretion to evaluate complex business, financial, operational, advisor, client, legal, regulatory, and cultural tradeoffs and recommend decisions to senior leadership.
• Partner with Finance and other experts to translate CJV economics, practice valuation, compensation, tax, financing, and transaction concepts into clear business requirements, advisor guidance, and scalable execution capabilities.
• Shape the advisor and field experience from awareness and eligibility through consultation, enrollment, ongoing support, Marketplace participation, transaction execution, and post-transition support.
• Engage confidently with financial advisors, field leaders, senior leaders, and external partners to explain the strategy, gather insights, build alignment, and drive adoption while clearly communicating benefits, risks, and choices.
• Establish program performance measures, management reporting, risk indicators, and feedback loops to monitor adoption, advisor and client experience, transaction outcomes, operational readiness, and progress toward scale.
• Identify and mitigate execution risks, including manual-process constraints, technology dependencies, resource capacity, third-party reliance, change saturation, and legal or regulatory considerations.
• Continuously refine the CJV and Marketplace strategy based on pilot learning, advisor and stakeholder feedback, operating data, industry insight, and evolving firm priorities.

What Experience you will Need:

Minimum: Bachelor's Degree and 11 + years experience, Advanced knowledge of business strategy and execution, financial services and wealth management, advisor practice operations, business and financial economics, complex program management, operating-model design, digital product development, and organizational change. Working knowledge of financial projections, compensation and valuation concepts, governance, risk management, and the legal, regulatory, tax, compliance, and operational considerations associated with new affiliation models and financial transactions.
