- Clarify roles, ownership, source authority, approved use, accountability, and handoffs with business owners, Knowledge Product Managers, governance, and technology partners.
- Maintain canonical sources and resolve duplicate, outdated, incomplete, conflicting, unsupported, difficult-to-retrieve, or ownerless knowledge.
- Promote reuse of governed knowledge across channels, workflows, products, search, copilots, and agents.
- Establish knowledge-health measures, thresholds, controls, scorecards, and reporting for quality, freshness, completeness, compliance, retrieval, and use.
- Oversee Knowledge Product certification and recertification, including remediation, replacement, revalidation, and retirement.
- Govern how knowledge is structured, published, reviewed, updated, superseded, archived, retained, and retired.
- Set freshness, effective-date, review, retention, revalidation, and retirement requirements that sustain quality after release.
- Apply metadata, taxonomy, lineage, classification, ownership, access, business meaning, and semantic standards.
- Structure reusable, self-contained, machine-usable knowledge for reliable use by people, models, copilots, agents, and other AI experiences.
- Partner across semantic, search, AI, product, platform, architecture, engineering, risk, records, and governance teams to improve retrieval, access, trust, and responsible use.
- Document stewardship decisions, monitor knowledge and AI outcomes, and use evidence to drive continuous improvement.
- Escalate material knowledge risks, control gaps, ownership issues, source conflicts, and lifecycle noncompliance.
- Influence leaders, drive adoption, and communicate value through trusted answers, user experience, productivity, reuse, risk reduction, and AI performance.
