Team Overview:
Overlay Management serves advisors and clients by efficiently and expertly addressing their tax, risk, and customization needs through the coordinated management of investments across sleeves, accounts, and households. Applying seasoned judgment to orchestrate tailored outcomes from a complex web of client and model provider inputs, helps clients achieve goals and financial wellness, drives advisor efficiency, and makes a client and advisor’s relationship with Edward Jones irreplaceable.
What You Will Do:
The Overlay Trading Quality Analyst is responsible for daily audit, review, and verification of departmental responsibilities. In this role, you will ensure that all instructions from managers, clients, and other parties are executed in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner. In all, your role is crafted to minimize risk, capital loss, and deviation from firm, division, and department policies and procedures.
Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of:
- Verify investment action replies from model providers
- Review and reconcile incoming investment action emails
- Verify all change model activity has been performed correctly
- Verify model programs have been updated accurately
- Verify and audit trade details from investment actions
- Monitor and review investment action working prices
- Tax Harvesting - monitor process and verify all requested losses/gains have been traded correctly
- Perform Account Specific Trading Review
- Perform Alert-Based Trading Reviews
Current Internal home-based associates please note: Even as a campus-based posted role you are eligible to apply and, if selected, you may retain your home-based status. However future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work and some roles may carry a preference for campus-based presence.
What Experience You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 1+ years of related experience (preferably in Asset Management, Trading or equivalent) including:
- Ability to multi-task, manage multiple complex tasks, while adhering to strict deadline
- Extreme attention to detail
- Proactive demeanor with ability and willingness to learn new concepts
Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.
