As Building Automation Systems Technician III, you will install, inspect, troubleshoot and maintain various Building Automation Systems onsite and via remote connections.
A caregiver in this position works days Monday – Friday from 6: 30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Troubleshoot, analyze and advise on system malfunctions and operational requirements.
- Read, write, modify and maintain automated building software and hardware for designated systems.
- Provide technical insight on Niagara analytic platform.
- Maintain BAS user access including but not limited to Microsoft Active Directory and SAML Single Sign-On.
- Ensure safe and effective operations and working environment.
- Respond to alarms, sensors, and alerts appropriately.
- Modify alarms to reduce alarm fatigue for end users.
- Monitor, Inspect, maintain and calibrate all temperature, humidity and recording devices including meters and gauges.
- Maintain inventory and records for sensor and control devices related to digital and pneumatic systems.
- Work at other Cleveland Clinic locations as needed.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience working within one or more of the following areas: installation, maintenance or repair of Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems, Building Automation Systems (BAS), Information Technology, Operational Technology, Pneumatic Systems, lighting controls or other related fields including 1 year of experience using the Niagara framework in a role as a Building Automation Systems (BAS) integrator
- Advanced knowledge of BAS software protocols, i.e., BACnet, Lon Works, Comm4, N2, and P2
- Working knowledge and understanding of IT and OT infrastructures related to BAS network.
- Strong customer service background and teaching skills
- Advanced computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management Software
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Niagara 4 Advanced Technical Certification Program certification or Niagara 4 Analytic certification through Tridium

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $30.41
Maximum hourly: $46.38
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
