Overview
The Citigold Client Advisor is a trusted partner to emerging affluent and high-net-worth individuals in Singapore, providing holistic and personalized wealth management solutions. As a key member of the Citi Wealth team, the Advisor will proactively understand and anticipate client needs, offering sophisticated strategies across investment management, retirement planning, legacy planning and risk management.
This role is client-centric and strategic-focused on building enduring relationships, navigating complex financial landscapes, and helping clients achieve long-term financial well-being. The Advisor will work closely with internal specialists to deliver seamless, tailored advice that addresses both immediate financial goals and future aspirations including intergenerational wealth transfer.
With a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to delivering excellence, the Citigold Client Advisor plays a vital role in driving growth and making a meaningful difference in clients’ financial journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive Wealth Planning:
Design and implement tailored financial strategies that include investment management, retirement planning, legacy and estate planning, tax optimization, and risk mitigation.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
Cultivate deep, long-term relationships with emerging affluent and high-net-worth individuals. Serve as their primary advisor by understanding life goals, financial needs, and generational aspirations.
Business Development & Portfolio Growth:
Drive portfolio expansion through proactive prospecting, referrals, and leveraging Citi’s global platform. Conduct regular reviews to ensure client strategies evolve with changing needs.
Collaboration & Specialist Coordination:
Partner with internal specialists (Bancassurance Specialists, Investment Consultants, Treasury Specialists) to deliver integrated, end-to-end financial solutions.
Market Insights & Advisory:
Stay current with market trends, investment opportunities, and regulatory changes. Translate insights into actionable advice that supports clients’ wealth goals.
Client Events & Education:
Organize exclusive client events to enhance engagement and deliver valuable market perspectives.
Governance, Risk & Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with KYC/AML, regulatory, and internal policies. Exhibit sound judgment in managing ethical standards and risk controls while safeguarding Citi and client interests.
Qualifications:
- 4 - 10 years of experience in wealth management or a related field, serving affluent and high-net-worth clients in Singapore.
- Strong local market knowledge and experience advising clients with wealth, retirement and legacy planning needs.
- Demonstrated success in business development, client acquisition, and relationship deepening.
- Robust understanding of investment products, wealth strategies, and financial planning tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Mandatory certifications required for advising on financial products in Singapore.
- Willingness to travel locally for client engagement when necessary.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
