Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively identifying and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to troubleshooting, ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications that support business functions. The position demands continuous monitoring, analysis, and collaboration with different teams to maintain system stability and performance, while swiftly addressing any disruptions that may impact business processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and minimize downtime.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance overall team capability.
• Continuously evaluate system performance and recommend improvements to optimize business operations.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
• Strong knowledge of system monitoring and troubleshooting techniques within SAP environments.
• Experience in managing system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes to maintain system integrity.
• Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes of issues.
• Familiarity with database administration and backup/recovery procedures related to SAP systems.
• Skilled in coordinating with application and infrastructure teams to implement effective solutions.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
