Summary:

As a Test Automation Lead, a typical day involves spearheading the evolution of testing practices to establish a seamless and efficient quality engineering process. This role focuses on enhancing the accuracy and integrity of testing through the implementation of advanced tools and methodologies. The individual drives the adoption of intelligent and predictive testing strategies, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation in testing solutions. Collaboration with various teams to integrate quality processes and deliver robust automation frameworks is a key aspect of daily activities, fostering a culture of excellence and precision in software quality assurance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the design and implementation of automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Mentor and guide team members to develop their skills and improve overall team performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing processes and reduce cycle times.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Axway Specialized Tools.
• Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages relevant to test automation.
• Experience in integrating testing tools with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and design effective test strategies to ensure software quality.
• Familiarity with quality engineering principles and best practices in software testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate within the testing domain.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Axway Specialized Tools.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
