Project Role: Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description: Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare moderate to complex network designs/schematics to address specific customer network solution requirements.
- Prepare work orders containing instructions to be used by technicians to configure network hardware and software.
- Work with customer technical teams to provide solutions for customers internetworking communications requirements.
- Configure and troubleshoot WAN/ LAN/ WLAN equipment in a complex environment.
- Remotely support new installs, circuit upgrades and logical changes
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Should be able to lead a team and Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting skills on Cisco Wireless Controllers, Cisco Routers, Firewalls Fortinet, F5 Load Balancers, IPSEC, SSL VPN and Infoblox DDI.
- Maintain design of LAN/WAN including protocols and routing Troubleshooting critical incidents and problem tickets Identify potential failures and recommend solution.
- Update knowledge base with known errors/resolutions.
- Provide day to day operational support for the in-scope device Management Services and Advance level knowledge of Fault Management like Identify and Classify Fault, Investigate and Diagnose Fault and Provide Fault resolution.
- Should have very good experience of software patch management to manage the Extreme cloud patch management cycle, patch testing and deployment of patches on timely basis.
- Experience in managing Multi-Client Networks, WAN Links, LAN Management and Excellent knowledge of Advanced Networking and Network Protocols.
- Co-ordinate with 3rd party vendors for Network Hardware replacement & Core level debugging.
- Follow ITIL process with proving skills in working with Incident & Change management methodologies.
- Should be able to drive Network projects & work at the Data center during deployment of Network hardware s Experience with Wireshark or other NAM tools.
Additional Information:
- Should have 6 to 8 years of experience in Network operational support/management roles.
- Should have supported Network deployments.
- Should have experience performing Network transitions / transformations.
- Good understanding of procedures, application, and concepts within own subject area.
- Flexible to work in 24x7 environment.
Educational Qualification:
BS or BA in Engineering, Computer Science or equivale.
Additional Information:
Certifications in CCNA, CCNP or any other relevant certifications.
