Therapy Development Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Main Responsibilities:

Abbott Therapy Development Specialist provides technical, clinical, educational and sales support to ensure safe adoption and growth of Abbott

• 1. Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) portfolio
• TAVR technical and clinical support

2. Transcatheter mitral valve repair- Mitra Clip technical and clinical support.

The Therapy Development Specialist works closely with implanting physicians, surgeons and the Abbott field organizations to drive procedural and practice success. Assist in identifying priority centers, providing rationale as to why they fit the Abbott SH clinical/commercial criteria for development and become the front-line partner for customer interface.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Tertiary education degree

• 3-5 years experiences in a fast-moving industry, where product cycles are short (medical) or hospital

• Demonstrate an ability to absorb technical knowledge quickly and disseminate appropriately to all levels of healthcare professionals

• In depth product and industry knowledge

• Imaging interpretation experience (TTE or TEE, CT & Angiograms).

• Expertise with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

• Project management skill

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills

• Passionate and self-driven

• Excellent presentation skill

• Proficiency in writing, reading, listening and speaking English

• Weekly report submitted in timely manner

• Team player, and must be able to work independently as well
