Senior Software Engineer

About the Team:
You will be part of the ADAS Division, working in a software development team responsible for projects with Japanese passenger car manufacturers (JOEMs). The team develops advanced driver assistance systems using camera and radar technologies. Collaborating closely with global teams, we deliver high-quality embedded software solutions tailored to local customer needs.
What you can look forward to as Senior Software Engineer:

Develop basic software modules for ADAS camera/radar systems, covering the full V-model development process (requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing)

Collaborate with global software teams to manage development schedules and resolve issues in a timely manner
-
Support software module/system verification for engineering and official releases
-
Act as a technical expert for specific functions (e.g., cybersecurity), handling internal and external inquiries and troubleshooting
-
Conduct root cause analysis independently and provide feedback for responsible functions
-
Take on a trainer role to onboard new engineers and provide refresher training in areas of expertise

Continuously update technical knowledge to stay aligned with industry trends
Your Profile as Senior Software Engineer:
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering
-
Over 5 years of experience in embedded software development (automotive industry experience is a plus)
-
Proficient in C, C++, and scripting languages such as Perl and CAPL
-
Strong self-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
-
Effective communication skills in English and Japanese both written and spoken for technical discussions with customers and global teams
-
Knowledge of automotive architecture and standards such as AUTOSAR and ASPICE, as well as experience with CAN and diagnostic development, is a plus
