Opportunity for Policy Manager
- Maps Business
Experience: 12+ years
GIS & Maps Experience is mandatory:

Education: A bachelor's degree.
Experience: Prior experience in policy development, public administration, legal, or a related field is essential.
Skills: Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities are crucial. Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills are also necessary to effectively convey complex policy information. A policy manager must be highly organized and detail-oriented to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
Policy Development: Researching, drafting, and revising policies based on legal requirements, organizational goals, and stakeholder feedback. This includes conducting a policy analysis to assess the potential impact and effectiveness of new or existing policies.
Implementation and Communication: Creating and executing plans to roll out new policies. This involves communicating policy changes to employees and other stakeholders through various channels, such as presentations, training sessions, and written documents.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly reviewing policies to ensure they are current, compliant, and effective. A key part of this is policy evaluation, which involves collecting and analyzing data to measure a policy's impact and identify areas for improvement.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring the organization adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal standards. Policy managers often work closely with legal and compliance teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with non-compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with different departments, management, and external partners to gather input, build consensus, and ensure policies are practical and well-received.
