How will you make an impact?

The 6 -month internship in the Lifecycles team, part of the HR department, is designed to offer you the opportunity to develop insight into how a global leader in the scientific space is successful, gain valuable skills while conducting meaningful work within the team. This opportunity is crafted to allow you to grow professionally, learning invaluable skills to help develop the skills for your career!

Colleague Services is a valuable group within Human Resources providing the support to both our internal HR groups and our colleagues, supporting everything from contract generation to payroll and benefit support to the termination process.

What will you do?

During your time with Thermo Fisher you will provide administrative support to an HR team including organizing, printing, collecting, and filing a variety of HR paperwork. You may also have the opportunity to work directly with employees and collect applicable signatures on these documents. As part the HR team, you gain exposure to different labor laws and employment document requirements across the EMEA region.

As part of the Lifecycles team you will work closely as a team, providing support and ideas for day to day activities. You will have a mentor who will help you navigate through our organization and processes and receive the best support, which will ensure you are on your way to reaching your goals.

How will you get here?

• You are last year university student or have just graduated and are looking for an entry level position

• Start date can be flexible to meet your needs

• You have the ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously

• You enjoy working in a team

• You also have excellent administration and organization skills and the ability to prioritize and time handle various tasks

• Results oriented

• Demonstrate a positive demeanor and desire to succeed

• Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a constantly evolving business environment

• English proficiency

• Knowledge of a third language, such as German, French, Spanish, Italian at B1 or above level is highly desirable.
