Job Description

The Technical B-One Performance Intern will support the Managed Services team responsible for delivering accurate and scalable portfolio performance analytics to some of Fact Set’s largest clients. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop a hybrid skill set at the intersection of financial data, technical infrastructure, and performance measurement. You will gain hands-on exposure to Fact Set’s B-One platform - specifically its data workflows, system architecture, and integration layers.

During Your Internship You Will:

Learn the end-to-end data flow behind the performance measurement processes using the B-One platform

Support the setup and monitoring of ETL processes for client data

Assist with the investigation of workflow issues across database layers and application logs

Gain exposure to performance calculation processes and data validation tools

Participate in internal troubleshooting tasks related to job failures, server performance, or report generation

Develop foundational knowledge of system architecture, databases, SQL, application servers, and API integrations

Gain exposure to system administration and AWS infrastructure

Collaborate with technology consultants and system engineers to improve process efficiency and automation

What We Are Looking For In Candidates:

University students in their 3rd year or above, or recent graduates in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related fields

Interest in financial data systems or enterprise software

Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server or similar)

Comfortable working with technical tools, scripting, cloud computing platforms like AWS.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective communicator and a collaborative team player

Curiosity about technology and willingness to learn.

Solid communication skills in English (written and verbal)

Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn from professionals
