Lead Certified Medical Assistant

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant Lead. Is that you?

  • Sign-On for Eligible New Hires Work location: 902 West Randol Mill Road
  • Suite 150 Arlington, TX 76012

Work hours:

Full Time; 40 hours weekly; Monday – Friday (8am-5pm)

Here’s What You Need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)

  • Four (4) years of medical assistant experience (REQUIRED)

  • CMA - Current Certified Medical Assistant (REQUIRED)

  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Exceptional Quarterly - 90 days upon hire (REQUIRED)

  • Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training (CT) educational program with demonstrated competency in required skillls (REQUIRED)

  • NCT - Non-certified Radiologic Technician training may be required upon hire (PREFERRED)

  • Medication Aide Certification may be required upon hire (PREFERRED)

What You Will Do:

  • Directs and guides back office staff in monitoring and expediting workflow.

  • Handles medical supply inventory, orders, and cost control.

  • Performs general patient care by following established standards and procedures.

  • Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider.

  • Obtains and records vital signs and other appropriate information, such as height, weight, drug allergies, current medications and presenting problem.

  • Administers ordered medications via oral, topical, rectal, ophthalmic, and/or inhalant administration.

  • Administers vaccines via oral, topical, injection and/or nasal administration.
