Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231

Work hours: PRN - Must have availability to work 6:00AM-2:30PM Monday-Friday

Food and Nutrition Services Department highlights:

Here’s What You Need

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 1 Year relevant cooking experience in high volume restaurant, hospital, or Institution

  • Short order cooking experience preferred

  • FHC - Food Handlers Certificate 30 days required

  • Knowledge of food preparation/handling, and principles of sanitation Restaurant or institutional food services experience preferred

What You Will Do

  • Organizes work/area for maximum production, accurately follows production sheets

  • Deliver and Stock supply items in designated areas in an accurate and timely manner

  • Maintains kitchen and serving areas in a clean, neat and orderly manner to exceed department and TDH standards.

  • Understands how to read and prepare simple recipes to department standards.

  • Understand department standards of food quality and recipe taste

  • Ability to learn HACCP sanitation guidelines and follow for safe food handling.
