What You’ll Do

  • Early planning & procurement — Engage during concept and design developmen to flag long-lead items, support procurement, and define scope buy-out strategies that protect schedule and cost
  • Project execution — Lead complex contracted and self-performed construction work with integrated scheduling, daily/weekly progress tracking, cost and resource control, and clear reporting to leadership and stakeholders
  • Schedule ownership — Build, maintain, and drive master and detail schedules; resolve critical-path constraints; surface blockers early; and align cross-functional partners to keep milestones on track
  • Field leadership — Direct contractors and self-perform crews safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with site rules and standards
  • Site logistics — Develop and update site logistics and execution plans that support both contracted and self-performed scopes
  • Design & quality — Partner with engineering to resolve design issues pragmatically; verify installations meet end-user needs and quality targets; schedule and lead QC and required inspections (authority having jurisdiction, vendors, etc.); coordinate tool install, move-in, anchoring, and utility tie-ins
  • Reporting & risk — Deliver accurate, timely updates on schedule, budget, risks, and KPIs for all work under your control

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 4 years leading construction execution in manufacturing or industrial environments; direct experience managing self-performed work and early-stage procurement / buy-out strongly preferred
  • Technical coordination — Ability to read and reconcile multidisciplinary drawings and coordinate across functions for on-time installation
  • Scheduling— Skill in building phased and accelerated schedules (including partial/fragment releases) to support compressed completions
  • Code & occupancy — Working knowledge of applicable codes and building occupancy requirements
  • Operating environment — Proven success in a high-performance, matrixed organization
    with aggressive timelines and goals
  • Communication— Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Judgment— Sound decision-making and ability to align key stakeholders under pressure
