What to Expect
Tesla’s Factory Design team designs and develops future factories and is at the fore front of automation for all material flow. This includes managing Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRSs), conveyor systems, and many other cutting-edge automations.
This role will support the successful design and launch of AMR technology as part of the PMO, offering an exciting opportunity to drive real impact at the intersection of robotics, software, material flow, and data, ensuring project alignment with broader timelines, stakeholder communication, and execution. Strong program management skills are essential for leading great robot design, identifying new features, generating insights, managing Capex and maintaining program updates for engineers and leadership.

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, program management skills, and a data-driven mindset to optimize execution and decision-making. Strong engineering and project management fundamentals are required to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment as part of a strong, flexible, and highly motivated team to accomplish some of the most ambitious projects being attempted in any industry today.

The team operates in CA, TX, and NV with frequent travel to Tesla factories.
