ポジションについて

We are seeking a Plant Modeling and Simulation Engineer to develop, validate, and maintain high-quality plant models supporting XIL, virtual validation, and system integration activities. This role focuses on building scalable, reusable models across multiple vehicle domains and ensuring alignment with system-level requirements and verification workflows.

The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams including system design, architecture, controls, and testing organizations to enable efficient virtual development and validation using model-based techniques.

This role is ideal for engineers who:

  • Enjoy deep technical work in modeling and simulation

  • Want to contribute to system-level development and validation

  • Are building toward technical leadership or system architecture roles

Key Responsibilities: Plant Model Development

  • Develop and maintain 0D/1D plant models representing physical systems (e.g., propulsion, chassis, ADAS, infotainment).

  • Ensure models meet appropriate fidelity levels depending on development phase (concept, design, integration, validation).

  • Perform model validation and correlation against requirements and test data.

  • Support model reduction and optimization for simulation efficiency.

Model-Based Development Support

  • Integrate plant models into XIL workflows and environments.

  • Support virtual testing, requirement validation, and system verification activities.

  • Collaborate with controls and system engineers to ensure alignment between plant models and control strategies.

  • Contribute to continuous integration pipelines for model development and validation.

Collaboration & Integration

  • Work with:

  • System and functional design teams

  • Architecture and simulation framework teams

  • Testing and validation teams

  • Suppliers and tool vendors

  • Ensure plant models:

  • Are compatible with simulation platforms

  • Support cross-domain integration

  • Enable efficient data exchange and reuse

Model Quality & Governance

  • Participate in:

  • Model reviews

  • Quality checks and validation processes

  • Maintain:

  • Model documentation

  • Version control and configuration management

Continuous Improvement

  • Support initiatives to improve:

  • Model fidelity and performance

  • Reusability and scalability

  • Simulation efficiency

  • Contribute to tool evaluation, benchmarking, and process enhancements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in plant modeling, simulation, or V&V environments

  • Strong understanding of Model-Based Development (MBD) and virtual testing methods

  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or similar modeling tools

  • Knowledge of physical system modeling (0D/1D)

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and methods

  • Experience in one scripting language

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in automotive OEM

  • Familiarity with xIL environments (MIL/SIL/HIL)

  • Understanding of automotive V&V processes and standards

  • Experience with:

  • Model validation and correlation

  • Variant/configuration management

  • Version control systems

  • Domain experience in:

  • Propulsion

  • ADAS
