The Job:
As a Senior Cost Accountant, you’ll be part of our Finance team working as an on-site employee.
You’ll get to:
- Perform timely variance analysis to support cost control and provide meaningful insights for business decision-making.
- Support key accounting and financial activities that help maintain operational efficiency and financial integrity within the manufacturing operation.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory movements, and expense trends to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and support plant-level business needs.
- Prepare, organize, and manipulate data using advanced Excel tools, including pivot tables, to generate accurate and useful reporting.
- Support FP&A-related activities, including reporting, analysis, forecasting support, and interpretation of financial performance.
- Utilize ERP systems, preferably MAPICS or Infor XA, to review transactional data and support accounting processes.
- Ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and timely completion of deliverables in a deadline-driven environment.

You also have:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- At least 5 years of direct experience as a Senior Cost Accountant in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong FP&A experience and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables, and experience working with ERP systems such as MAPICS or Infor XA is preferred.
- Assertive bilingual communication skills, strong attention to detail, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to work effectively with others while meeting deadlines.
