How you will create an impact

• Analyze and properly identify all payment transactions received in bank for the Latin America AIG Facultative Desk.

• Allocate cash receipts and generate journal entries.

• Responsible to analyze aging report and update payment status for each account.

• Accountable for collections efforts with brokers via email.

• Issue cancellation notices for past due accounts.

• File and organize Collections department Digital Cash receipts as required.

• Support financial internal and external audits.

• Assist other Collection team members in matters related to collections area.

• Resolve situations presented by producers, insured and internal clients, related to premium payments.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree preferred or an Associate Degree plus 2 years’ accounting experience.

• This position suits candidates with some experience in the insurance industry as well as work related responsibilities.

• Language skill: fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written)

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Analytical skills and detail oriented.

• Excellent teamwork skills.

• Proficient in the use of MS Office suite products specially Excel (a must) and Word.
