Business Intelligence Analyst (Fulfillment Services) - Shopee

BI team underpins Shopee Retail (Outright and Consignment), Warehouse, and Fulfillment services by delivering data-driven insights that improve efficiency, cost control, and growth. Working closely with Strategic Growth, Marketing, BD Acquisition, and Operations, the team ensures cross-functional alignment and enables informed, performance-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and KPI reports to track supply chain, retail, and consignment business performance. Assist in preparing reports and visualizations that help stakeholders make data-driven decisions;
• Business Performance Monitoring: Monitor key business metrics, identify trends or unusual changes, and support root cause analysis by gathering and analyzing data. Present findings and recommendations under the guidance of the team;
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Retail, and Consignment, to understand reporting requirements and provide timely data support for business needs;
• Process Improvement: Assist in improving reporting processes, data quality, and dashboard efficiency. Help ensure data accuracy and contribute ideas to enhance existing reporting tools and workflows.

Requirements

• Fresh graduates or candidates with less than one year of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics role with proven business impact;
• Strong expertise in both Excel Pivot Tables and SQL is required;
• Capable of leading conversations in cross-functional teams to identify problems, collect requirements, and propose steps to resolve issues - both on a macro-level and a micro-level;
• Quick learner with a can-do attitude;
• Strong ability to create user-friendly dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of business stakeholders;
• Fundamental knowledge of statistical programming language (Python, R) to manipulate and draw insights from large data sets;
• Nice-to-have:
• Experience with ETL processes or working alongside data engineers is a plus;
