Cross Border Project Management (Korea Market) - Business Development, Shopee

Responsibilities

1.

Build New Business:

• Identify and unlock new growth opportunities for Korean brands entering Vietnam.
• Develop partnerships with distributors, ecosystem partners, government organizations, and strategic stakeholders.
• Expand Shopee's Korean seller ecosystem beyond traditional categories into new growth verticals.

2.

Drive Strategic Initiatives:

• Own high-impact projects from idea to execution.
• Work directly with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to launch new programs.
• Influence stakeholders across Business Development, Marketing, Category, Operations, Live Commerce, Affiliate, and Product.

3.

Shape the Seller Journey:

• Design scalable onboarding and incubation programs.
• Build playbooks, growth frameworks, and best practices that influence hundreds of Korean sellers.
• Turn market insights into actionable business strategies.

4.

Become the Bridge Between Korea & Vietnam:

• Represent Shopee in meetings with brands, distributors, government organizations, and industry partners.
• Drive localization initiatives that create long-term business impact.

Requirements

• 3+ years in Business Development, Strategy, Consulting, Partnerships, Category Management, or Project Management.
• Strong stakeholder management and project ownership.
• Experience driving cross-functional initiatives.
• English proficiency required.
• Korean language proficiency is highly preferred.
