The best-run businesses run SAP.
AI Industry Architect (Location: Saudi Arabia) at SAP
About the role
We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
What you’ll build
Location: Saudi Arabia
You will design and deliver industry‑specific, AI‑driven solutions that solve high‑value business challenges for SAP’s most strategic customers. Your work will directly influence how AI is adopted, scaled, and ultimately productized within SAP’s standard AI portfolio.
In this role, you will:
- Shape end‑to‑end AI solutions that connect real industry processes with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and SAP Business AI capabilities.
- Help customers translate complex industry challenges into clear, actionable AI use cases that deliver measurable business impact.
- Drive digital transformation by ensuring solutions are technically feasible, scalable, and aligned with long‑term business value.
- Work closely with customers in discovery sessions to identify priorities, design solutions, and guide adoption in live business processes.
- Lead agile delivery cycles—from proof of concept to pilot and production—turning innovation into outcomes.
- Act as a bridge between customers and SAP’s global Product and Engineering teams, shaping roadmaps through real customer insights.
- Create reusable accelerators, reference architectures, and best practices that extend impact beyond a single engagement.
What you bring
You combine deep industry understanding with strong AI and SAP knowledge, and you are at ease working directly with customers and partners. You think end‑to‑end, communicate clearly, and thrive in environments where ownership and impact matter.
You bring:
- Solid grounding in data and AI/ML concepts, including data modeling, APIs, and common AI patterns such as forecasting, classification, and intelligent assistants.
- Strong end‑to‑end understanding of industry processes within one or more industries such as Oil & Gas, Public Sector, Manufacturing, Utilities, Retail, or related domains.
- Knowledge of industry markets, their evolution, and the relevant SAP industry portfolio.
- Confidence in customer‑facing and partner‑facing interactions, including discovery workshops, demos, and explaining technical trade‑offs in business terms.
- A strong software engineering foundation (e.g., Python, Java, TypeScript) with hands‑on experience in SAP BTP, integrations, and at least one major SAP domain.
- Experience designing and prototyping solutions, using modern tools and rapid‑iteration approaches.
- Comfort operating in a forward‑deployed, high‑ownership role, navigating ambiguity and driving work to completion.
- Cultural awareness and experience collaborating across geographies and nationalities.
- Fluency in English; additional languages, especially Arabic, are a plus.
Where you belong
You’ll be part of a highly collaborative, global environment where industry expertise, innovation, and customer impact come together.
Here, you will find:
- Close collaboration with customers, partners, and SAP product and engineering teams around the world.
- A culture that values ownership, curiosity, and practical innovation, where ideas are tested through real customer impact.
- Teams that respect diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and ways of thinking, and work together across cultures and regions.
- An inclusive environment where architects are trusted to lead, experiment, and shape the future of AI‑enabled industry solutions.
- The opportunity to work on meaningful challenges that influence both customer success and SAP’s long‑term AI strategy.
